Crazy Christmas Feature
Many of you may not know this, but one of my favourite things on earth - Snowglobes

I have no idea what it is, but I love them and I have a little collection going. So that's why I had to use this journal skin

Anyway!
It's Christmas, so I wanted to do a crazy feature, since I've had the idea for a while. There's a lot of categories, so stay tuned.

Contest - THE WINNERS!!Dear raiders, the big day has finally come! We are here to announce the winners of our first grand art contest „I am the creative director of Tomb Raider“.
We would first like to give you a little insight on how we judged your entries. Before you skip to see who won, we want you to bear in mind that the judging was extremely difficult, even more so since we got quite a number of entries. We tried to be as fair as possible, taking into account many elements of the artwork's creation process and judged each piece individually.
Since we had so many categories of art, we developed a special system allowing us to judge each piece with regards to the medium it was created with and its specifics. These criteria were the closest analogues for each category to keep things as fair as possible. After the rating for every criterion was done, the number of points was summed up so in the end a piece could get from 5 to 50 points. With that done

ArielI love Ariel, the Disney Princess, as well as Rapunzel! In fact I love most of them- apart from Cinderella, Snow White and Aurora. They're nice, nothing wrong with them, but not overly interesting. So here's a load of Ariel fan art that I ADORE.

Interview with the creative director of TR!Dear raiders!
We have had the honor of participating in an interview with Noah Hughes, the creative director of TR, on a Tomb Raider event in Dubai this year!
Our dear admin Ahmad ( *Orphen5 ) filmed this video in cooperation with Reno ( LaraCroftTheRaider.com ) who was asking Noah questions that every fan is surely wondering about. A lot has been revealed about the new game already, but here is some more info about elements of the game that fans (old and new) are curious about!

This group focuses on encouraging artists.

Our membership is approaching 2,600 and our galleries, which are well worth viewing, contain even more amazing and inspirational art.

The primary focus of this group continues to be digital painting and digital drawing, which should be submitted to the 'Featured 4' folder. This group also accepts and has folders for animation, designs and interfaces, deviantWEAR, pixel art and pixel animation, vector and vexel artworks, comic strips, pages and panels, mature content, mixed media, mixed media - 3D, 3D art, commission information, tutorials and resources and also wallpaper.

As always, I would like to congratulate the members on the continuing high quality of their artworks, which are always a pleasure for me to accept.

About our group

While it is understood that digital art is digital art in general this group primarily highlights art from:

Digital Painting/Airbrushing

Digital Drawings

Digital Mixed Media

Digital Miscellaneous

Please understand that if you are a member submitting a photomanipulation, fractal, typography or traditional artworks, while I respect your work, I will regretfully decline it because this is not what this group is showcasing. If an artwork is declined, I will always send a message explaining why.

Artworks containing nudity must be tasteful and have artistic merit. Full frontal nudity is rarely accepted, nor are sexually exlicit, sexually immoral artworks or those containing an excess of crude language. Having said this there can be exceptions but my decision will take into consideration the high number of young members in this group.

If you submit mixed media, and stock is used, it must be minimal, preferably in the background , with the majority of the artwork digitally painted or drawn, or I will regretfully decline it. In most cases, if I really love the image, I will add it to my personal favourites as I frequently do.
